The Surefire L2 LumaMax is a compact (palm size) dual-output high-intensity LED flashlight for self-defence, duty, and general use. Uses a virtually indestructible power-regulated light-emitting diode (LED) light source and a two-stage tailcap switch for instant selection of desired output level — extended-runtime low beam almost seven times the light of a big two D-cell flashlight, or a pre-focused high-output tactical-level beam with almost seven times the light — bright enough to temporarily blind and disorient a person by impairing out his night-adapted vision.
